Octopus Suckers on Glass

Octopus Suckers on Glass

On the day I visited the Seattle Aquarium, their Giant Pacific Octopus (Enteroctopus dofleini) had stuck itself to the front glass of its tank so we could all admire its inherent beauty. I’ve read that they can change colors, so I’m very glad it decided to be pink when I was shooting it. (Have I mentioned that pink is my favorite color?)

I turned this photo into an abstract by deleting the beak and adding more suckers and then adding a slight sketch effect with the Topaz Labs filters.
